ADVOCACY AND NETWORKING
 
EVE for Life views HIV and AIDS as a multi-pronged problem that calls for concerted effort from all sectors of the society. Through its advocacy efforts EVE for Life will increase awareness on various HIV and AIDS issues especially those relating to women and children. The aim is to reduce stigma and discrimination and to curb the epidemic among women and children and by extension Jamaica. EVE for Life’s advocacy aims at sensitizing people with AIDS and society as a whole to understand the rights and responsibilities of the infected.
 
 
This is done through:

  1. Lobbying;
  2. Collaboration with government agencies, international development partners, AIDS    support NGOs, as well as Community Based Organizations that have similar interests.
  3. Meetings, seminars, conferences at national and international level.
  4. Workshops, programme exchanges, consultations and provision of technical support.
  5. Commemoration of Lights of Hope, World AIDS Day and other Important Days.
