Rosemarie Wignall Stone Women and Family Life Coordinator of EVE for Life

Rosie is an outstanding and passionate advocate in the HIV response. She is a Teacher/Trainer/Facilitator and has served many groups. As a senior member of the Stone Polling Team (Prof Carl Stone) 1976 – 1993; Owner and CEO of the Stone Team 1996 – 2006, she has a wealth of information and intimate understanding of the Jamaican Psycho-social culture and its impact on women and families. She has served as panelist, guest speaker, counsellor, patron, and facilitator, however Rosie really loves to keep it simple. She is very close to her family, loves to read and cook and wants to share her life with women all across the universe.

Rosemarie Ryder - Orphan and Vulnerable Children Coordinator (OVC)
Rosemarie is a vibrant, ambitious and selfless young professional, she hails from St.Andrew, Jamaica. A mother of four children and married for over fifteen years, Rosemarie’s passion for family makes her a suitable fit for EVE for Life’s mission to provide meaningful support to families affected by HIV.
Employed to the University of the West Indies as an Office Attendant from October 1994 to July 2004, she is now a graduate of the University of the West Indies, BSc. Social Work (Hons), and is now pursuing her Masters in Communication for Social & Behaviour Change.
She has coordinated numerous HIV/AIDS sensitization workshop training individuals to the issues faced by Persons Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV). Mentorship for PLHIV is one of her specific skills.
She has worked as an Orphans and Vulnerable Coordinator from August 2004 to August 2008 with Jamaica AIDS Support. And is a certified Voluntary Counselling and Testing skills provider.
Rosemarie has excellent personal motivation with a proven ability to build and work collaboratively in a strong team concept environment, as well as independently. Focused, versatile, dependable, multi-task oriented, flexible, positive, able to adapt effectively to challenging and emergency situations. Well developed skills in prioritizing, organization, decision making and time management skills. A passion for the vulnerable, Rosemarie is always serving.
